This kit includes Two NP-F980 7.4V 6600mAh Li-Ion Batteries with a Universal Dual NP-F Power System with 15mm Rod Mount and a NP-F Series Dual-Battery Charger. The Lithium-Ion battery features two USB ports built-in, one a USB Type-A output for charging mobile devices, and the other a micro-USB power input. The NP-F Power System uses two widely available NP-F/Sony L-Series type batteries to output 12 to 16V via four unregulated D-Tap ports. The Dual-Battery Charger simultaneously charges two Sony L-series (NP-F) batteries and confirms the charge status via a compact LCD screen.

The power from the NP-F battery allows you to connect the battery directly to a USB power source to recharge it, so you won't need a battery plate or any dedicated charger, although most L-series chargers can be used, including those from IndiPRO. The battery also offers a 4-LED gauge on top that confirms the remaining battery capacity at the press of a check button.
