The Casio Casiotone LK-S450 portable keyboard makes learning to play your favorite tunes easier than ever with a Key Lighting System that illuminates the way and shows you what note to play next. The Step-Up Lesson Mode with 160 songs and exercises lets you control how quickly you move through the levels, so you can enjoy learning at your own pace from the comfort of your home.
The LK-S450 features 61 full-size keys with touch sensitivity that adds rich expression to each note you play. It employs the company's AiX Sound Source technology to accurately reproduces every nuance of more than 600 high-quality acoustic and synthesized instrument sounds including electric pianos, organs, strings, synths, drum kits—and of course a Concert Grand piano. There are 200 auto-accompaniment styles with a backing band that can play a variety of musical genres from around the world, such as pop, jazz, R&B, rock, dance, Latin, and world music to name a few. Jam with the band and use the 6-track song recorder to record your performances, and play them back later.
The built-in speakers are great for sharing your music with friends. Plug in headphones for quiet play at any time. The 3.5mm aux input enables you to connect your phone/tablet or music player and play along with your favorite songs, while the 1/4" microphone input (with gain control) lets you connect a mic for singing along.
USB MIDI enables the keyboard to control other instruments or allows you to connect it to your computer. Plus, you can download the free Chordana App on your iOS or Android smartphone/tablet to learn any MIDI file while viewing traditional notation, a special visual piano display, or both. A separate USB-A port is available for the optional WU-BT10 Bluetooth MIDI/audio adapter, which enables you to connect wirelessly to other devices and control them via MIDI, or so you can use the LK-S450 as a Bluetooth speaker. This port can also be used to connect an external flash drive.
A tablet-ready music rest and an AC adapter are included, but the keyboard can also run on six AA batteries (available separately) and hang on a strap for truly mobile operation.
