The ProMaster GH26 Gimbal Head offers exceptional versatility, providing traditional gimbal action alongside controlled, fluid-like movements suitable for both still photography and videography. Comprised of three parts that swiftly detach for portability, this gimbal head is crafted from lightweight yet robust aluminum, ensuring precision machining and durability. Featuring separate tension and locking controls on both the swing arm and rotating base (four control points in total), users can seamlessly transition between loose, free motions and smooth, controlled movements. The unique smooth-control handle included in the kit enhances gimbal manipulation with its adjustable design, facilitating smooth, sweeping motions. Laser-etched scales on the base, upright, and rotational sections enable consistent and repeatable setups when switching cameras and lenses. The Dovetail (Arca-type) quick release plate, equipped with both 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 mounting bolts and a removable spring-loaded anti-twist pin, offers versatile attachment options tailored to various camera and lens configurations. With a cold weather rating enabling operation down to -13F / -25C, the GH26 excels in diverse climates, though its operability may be influenced by moisture and humidity levels.
